Our Staff

Fred Rohan-Vargas, Founder and Executive, is an award-winning author of several plays and musicals that have been produced throughout the country and abroad. He holds an MFA in dramatic writing from New York University.
As a producer, Fred has had his children’s musical, Yaki Yim Bamboo the Musical, run at the 13th Street Repertory Theatre. It received four stars from Show-Score in 2016. He co-produced the Off-Broadway musical Money Talks at the Ken Davenport Theatre in July 2017 and invested with Van Dean Productions in the Broadway show "The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical." in 2019 and with co-producer Merrie L. Davis in the 2023 Tony Award musical "Parade. He is currently the associate producer of "Flowers for Mrs Harris" playing in London.

José Medina, Associate Producer, has an outstanding track record with expertise in marketing, public relations, promotions, and sales. As an entrepreneur and approved McDonald’s independent marketing consultant for over 25 years, José has provided marketing services to McDonald’s Corporation and its licensees. He was a Grand Opening specialist who provided marketing plans and community outreach focused on operational excellence and strategic marketing initiatives with quantifiable results. Creatively, José has translated over 135 voiceover commercials in the Hispanic consumer market. He studied theatre at the Henry Street Settlement House and the Performing Arts School in New York City from the class of ’68. As an artist, he has worked under the founder and director of the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater, Miriam Colon. He’s performed on stage and has done voiceover on radio and TV in over 100 commercials for the Hispanic Consumer market.

Millicent Arrindell, Company Manager, grew up in Staten Island, New York where she had her first retail experience. She worked in her family business hardware store until she graduated from The City College of New York in Industrial Arts Education. After graduation, she held various managerial positions in the Human Resources /Personnel and Materiel Management Departments for 17 years at a large municipal hospital. In these various positions, Millicent managed the Employment and Recruitment and the Wage and Salary Divisions and maintained the computerized inventory system for various supplies, as well as assisted in creating a Materiel Management Newsletter. She has also managed and assisted various human resources events for the employees.

Alexandra Muscaro is a professional performer and award-winning dramaturg currently earning a Master’s degree in Arts in Medicine from the University of Florida. Alexandra has been working professionally in New York City since 2015 and has been the resident dramaturg of Mixing It Up Productions since 2019. Alexandra’s dramaturgical experience ranges from national tours, operas, festivals, and much more. As a proud member of the Dramatist Guild of America and the Recording Academy, Alexandra’s multidisciplinary approach to the arts greatly informs how she approaches her work with MIU clients. Alexandra loves the creative process, and she specializes in play development and production growth.
