Virtual Reading
A virtual Zoom reading of "The Big Eyed Gorilla" was done on February 6, 2021. A few drafts later, the creative team and staff started to plan a course of action to see that the musical followed a trajectory that would enable it to develop properly into the reality of full-scale production
Studio Reading
After COVID, the cast of "The Big Eyed Gorilla" did its first in-house reading in person at the ART/NY Studios in the theatre district of New York City on October 15, 2021, without an audience.
